As Managing Partner at Africa Technical Consultancy based in Johannesburg, South Africa, she excels in Gas chromatography and Forensic Toxicology. Her knowledge of the use of chemicals in agriculture and the production of food is beneficial for Quality assurance across various industries, more specifically that of water as a natural and scarce resource in our country.
Her previous roles include positions at The Coca-Cola Company, the South African Department of Health, Fine Chemicals Corporation and Nampak Research and Development. Deidré holds an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Cape Town and a BTech in Chemistry from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Her contributions to Forensic Toxicology are internationally recognized.
